The built-in activated charcoal filter fits snugly within the arm of every Taqua tap. Made in Japan to the highest standards.
Taqua’s filter cartridges significantly filter out lead, chlorine, small particles, pesticides and odours, but retain the natural minerals that our bodies need. Leaving nothing but fresh, clean water for drinking, washing veggies or when cooking family meals.
Replacement filter cartridges can be posted direct to you.
If you’ve been away for the weekend or longer, we recommend that you run the tap for 20 seconds before the filter operates optimally.

Fit a replacement cartridge in 10 seconds
Taking the spent cartridge out and putting in a new one is fast and easy. There’s no need to hire a handyman or pay a plumber – you really can do it yourself in around 10 seconds. Simply twist the end of the tap to the left, remove the top nozzle, then take out the old cartridge and replace it with a new one.
NOTE
If you use the same filter for longer than the recommended 4 months, the filter will not work optimally. So, if at any time you don’t want to enjoy having filtered water available at your fingertips, we advise you to take out the filter cartridge and use it as a normal tap, until you get a new replacement cartridge.
